Public Domain Enhancement Act

HR 2601

To amend U.S. Copyright Law, to allow abandoned copyrighted works to enter the public domain after 50 years.

The purpuse behind this legislation is to counter the automatic protections granted to all published works that are essentially abandoned by the authors.
