The AAAS Project on Science and Intellectual Property in the Public Interest (SIPPI) invites you to attend a series of briefings on science and intellectual property at the AAAS Annual meeting.
Time: 1 pm - 4 pm
Place: Coolidge Room, Marriott Wardman Park Hotel
Presentations will proceed in the following order:
Scholarly Journals: Publishing and Information Sharing - discussion of the AAAS/ALPSP/HighWire survey of scholarly journals and the dynamics of open access.
The Research Exemption in a Post-Madey v. Duke Era - comments on the results of a joint survey on the research exemption and the post Madey v. Duke landscape for universities.
Survey on Intellectual Property in Science - discussion of SIPPI's international survey of scientists.
