International Survey of Scientists: How Does IP Affect Research?

SIPPI is conducting an international survey to determine how scientists around the world interact with intellectual property issues in their day-to-day work.  As the first investigation of its kind, this two-stage, multi-tiered survey of scientists will help us understand how the increasingly convergent domains of scientific research and intellectual property protections are affecting one another.  The first stage of the survey will focus on AAAS members.  The survey will then be revised and expanded to include a broader number of scientists in several countries.  SIPPI will analyze the data and prepare a final report on the findings.
